At the end of my review for the second season of Unbreakable, I mentioned this show needs to change it up in order to stay relevant and not feel like simply more of the same and boy, is that incredibly apparent with this third season of Unbreakable. When the news arrived that the third season of Unbreakable dropped online I was psyched, reminiscing the countless moments of absolute comedic gold that had made me cackle in the past and from the very first episode to the last I was met with utmost disappointment.
Unfortunately jokes expire and Unbreakable seems to have run through its expiration date. That’s not to say Unbreakable has its funny moments here and there, but they are far and few compared to past seasons. Like the last season everyone is kind of running on their individual crusade, making each episode feel disjointed and the eliminating the meaning of having a group dynamic at all since nobody is spending anytime together at all. Which leads me to call this season as it is, pointless. It ends up right where we started and although a fourth season has been green-lit I see no point in watching it at this point from the colossal disappointment this season has left me with.
