While We’re Young Review

Screen Shot 2015-12-14 at 6.59.31 AM    Noah Baumbach’s first film released this year mixes the fun and the dramatic of a Baumbach film in the best way possible, lead by great performances and wonderful dialogue that perfectly fits each character. Noah Baumbach’s smart of analysis about the difference between the young and the old is a moving and dynamic film that is constantly escalating itself, studying the young, the forty-year olds, and the documentary business.  The standout here, I must say is Adam Driver who I had only seen in Inside LLeywn Davis up to this point, therefore this guy really surprised me and got me even more excited for his role in The Force Awakens. While We’re Young marks the beginning of a strong directorial year for Noah Baumbach, serves as a really interesting piece that differentiates two drastically different generations and also standouts as a great comedy this year, I must say it didn’t feel as perfect on a second viewing and the ending didn’t feel as climactic, but nevertheless, its still a fun film deserving a 75 out of 100.
