Independent-embodying as can be, Results proves to be a nice little film that I might not watch ever again but enjoyed watching. Gathering an incredible cast, Results contains characters that appear and disappear to appear again as some would in our lives, characters played by the awesome Cobie Smulders, Kevin Corrigan, and the grand Guy Pearce. If I were to describe this film, I would describe it as if it were How I Met Your Mother’s older, more mature, experienced, and depressive brother attempt at making a romantic film, and I don’t just say that because the film also happens to include Smulders. Now, delving into the film itself, Results is a film that I believe would normally fail, but thanks to its great cast, it triumphs, with the exception of Anthony Michael Hall that’s just sort of there and has some weird silly accent, but apart from Hall, Smulders is great, Pearce is as awesome as always, and even though I considered Kevin Corrigan to off-beat at times, in the end I understood why he was necessary to the story. In conclusion, Results is small film about relationships that I quite enjoyed and shall rate at a 77 out of 100.
