Rango Review

Screen Shot 2015-10-11 at 10.01.55 PM Rango is the film that prevented me from forgetting what Depp could do as an actor, in this case, a voice actor. Apart from really surprising me upon first watch, leaving me in awe about what I had recently seen, once revisiting it Rango still proves a joyous ride through a most wonderful desert full of eccentric characters. Rango is an imaginative wonder-piece that shall live on in people’s memory. Maybe a it too long, Rango is still a great animation film that delves into some really interesting themes in some really unique ways, adding a whole dimension to what seems like a graveyard type scenario at first. Apart from being extremely imaginative and cool, Rango has some stellar voice acting that bring the film to a whole new level, adding such great personalities to each of its characters. In the end, Rango is a film that really surprised me, that changed my thoughts on Depp and Verbinski, which leads me to rank it at a 90 out of 100.
