The Coen Brother’s warped version of Homer’s classic Odyssey is one that should be viewed for all its interesting little quirks. Full of interesting characters, twisted events, and a strong leading performance by Clooney that reminds me of him as Mr. Fox. Beautifully shot by Deakins, well-written by The Coen Bros. (of course), with nice passing, the only problem O Brother, Where Art Thou? really has is that its sometimes too excessive and weird for being set in a mundane setting, but either from that its a fun flick to watch with an incredible soundtrack, something that will definitely maintain you amused during the evening. Lesser than other Coen brother films, O Brother, Where Art Thou? is still an enjoyable watch with some really interesting traits that will make it stand-out in your mind, the ending does feel a bit too perfect and long, leading me to rank it a 70 out of 100.
