Like Hot Girls Wanted, Whitey is another documentary that presents some interesting information, in a nicely filmed way,but it really only serves as an appetizer for Black Mass. Even though its called Whitey, Whitey seems more like a TV documentary about FBI corruption than a documentary about Whitey’s trial. I know Whitey’s history is tied to FBI corruption, but the documentary seems to focus and hover over the FBI corruption more than on Whitey’s history. Its starts off well, gets boring in the middle, regains strength, gets boring again, and then sort of composes itself for the ending. But, as a whole, it feels like a TV movie that feels a bit to long even thought its only an hour twenty-six. In conclusion, Whitey is informational, boring at times, but it does present some interesting information, but then it deviates from its subject manner, so in the end I will rank it a 63 out of 100.
