Forrest Gump Review

Forrest Gump was my favorite movie before I was a film fan. Honestly, its lovely and probably the greatest feel-good film of all times, but now, as a film fan I cannot defend it against Pulp Fiction or The Shawshank Redemption anymore, as it is good, but it isn’t a such a grand cinematic landmark like the aforementioned. Its a marvelous version of the uncommon American hero, placing Forrest in a variety of historic moments, we get to see the evolution of this character besides the evolution of the U.S. With a terrific performance by Hanks, wonderful direction by Zemeckis, and a lovely story, Forrest Gump is a great American story with an unconventional hero, standing at with a 90 out of 100 in my mind.
