Stand By Me Review

Screen Shot 2015-09-20 at 2.51.25 PM   Stand By Me is a beautiful film, a life-changing film, a nostalgia driven vehicle of pure beauty. A non-kids film starring kids that transcends its genre to become a much more meaningful story than most of the stories found in coming-of-age films. I really don’t know how to describe this film’s beauty, the only word I can really find is special, like other Rob Reiner films such as This is Spinal Tap and The Princess Bride. Beautifully directed and beautiful looking, with wonderful performances Stand By Me is a fantastic film, one everyone should watch or re-watch depending on whether they’ve seen it or not, leading me to rank it at a 96 out of 100
