The Iron Giant Review

Screen Shot 2015-08-31 at 5.45.14 PM The Iron Giant is one of the most beautiful and emotional animated stories we’ve received in the last 20 years. The film that introduced us to Brad Bird, what I believe to be one Vin Diesel’s greatest performances, sure, it sounds absurd, but once you analyze the film and notice how Diesel was able to create a towering, menacing extraterrestrial into a amiable being via only the use of grunts and 53 words, its perfect. The voice acting is top-notch, funny thing, according to Rotten Tomatoes this is Jennifer Aniston’s highest rated film, which might sound funny in the beginning, but once you actually think about it, it does turns out to be the best film Aniston has worked on. Some may say the animation is somewhat dated, but in my opinion the dated animation actually helps the film, immersing you even more into this Cold War epoch. In the end, The Iron Giant is a beautiful underrated film that should search for and watch, a 95 out of 100, a truly fantastic film.
