Without total creative control and submitted to the creative boundaries of the pre-existing world, I believe Trevorrow was able to create the best Jurassic Park sequel in my opinion. By playing off your nostalgia and finally delivering the park we’ve always been awaiting for, Trevorrow was able to create a decent entertaining film that went on to become one of the highest grossing films of all time. First I shall list the pros, the directing, the introduction of new ideas such as a Triceratops petting zoo, Trevorrow was able to deliver us the fun Summer flick we awaited, but like any film, it did have some flaws. Now the cons shall be listed as well: Practically no chemistry between Pratt and Howards, weird subplots such as the whole divorce thing and the militarization of dinosaurs? what? Though as I said before, Trevorrow did deliver with a fun Summer film and the best Jurassic Park sequel up to date, ranking it at a 74 out of 100, an entertaining, nice Summer film.
