Teeth, wow, this is one of the most unique and weirdest films I’ve ever seen before. Personally I don’t think this movie was really needed and the concept the film is built upon is just frightening. But, Lichtenstein’s motivation to make the film, to tell such an odd story makes it Teeth good. Teeth plays somewhat like a slasher, and if defined as a gross slasher film, Teeth actually works even though it sounds insane. The titular character works perfectly for the story, even though I believe her character arc plays out as if it were forced, the rest of the acting is decent for the film it is, but the thing that really bothered me, was the brother who I understood was a maniacal and despicable character, but I felt like the actor was over-acting most of the time, something which really bugged at times. Midway through the film, I might have rated it a 70 out of 100, but by the time it concluded I felt Teeth had been made in the best way it could have been made, ranking it at a 76 out of 100, as a neat little and unique story.
